Warm up in the sauna, cool down in the natural pond and let the mountain day slowly fade out.
Winter in the mountains
The chalet is not right next to the slopes. The Velká Úpa ski area is 1.6 km away on foot or on skis. In good snow conditions you can ski down to the chalet directly from the top station of the Portášky cable car. A free ski bus takes you to Pec pod Sněžkou or Černá hora.
Summer and autumn
Three days in the Krkonoše mountains you will remember for a long time: the Portášky cable car and the Pecka play landscape, the ridge trail to Sněžka from Velká Úpa, and Černá hora with its treetop walkway, where from summer 2026 you can also watch bears.
